Ms. Boulard has not been the same since her 15-day ordeal.
A young woman was found half-dead in a canoe early this morning. Ms. Michelle Boulard, of Richmond Michigan, had been in the wayward canoe for 15 days before being spotted by a passing boater. Ms. Boulard was immediately sent to a hospital after being pulled from the canoe. Her condition was such that she had been eating the spiders off the

bottom of her boat for nourishment, and gathering rainwater in her hat to drink. It is believed that Ms. Boulard began her disastrous journey with a group of teenagers. Soon after they started off on their trip, a terrible wind (clocked at 3mph) began to blow from the south. At this point, Ms. Boulard's canoe began to have a mind of it's own. "It wouldn't let me go!" said a rattled Ms. Boulard from her hospital bed in Parry Sound, "I tried and tried, but I just kept going in circles!" Michelle's rescuer found her paddling in vain, trying to reach the shore. "She was in some sort of stupor... she kept saying, 'row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream...'" The group with which she was travelling with has declined to comment on the incident. They have, however, all gotten together to pay for paddling lessons for the luckless Ms. Boulard.
